There are 2 excursion afternoons at every TADAH week event! They vary but the standard set up is one trip to the beach and one trip to one of the many stunning canyons in the area.
The beach is located on the edge of the historical Turkish village of Side and surrounded by ancient ruins
Expect the usual beach facilities: sun loungers, option to buy drinks and obviously the Mediterranean sea to float in 🙂
Laze on the beach, explore the ruins or pop into the town for souvenirs 🙂
The water colour alone makes these trips really special. We head to one of the beautiful canyons in the area and enjoy a lunch of fresh fish (or vegan alternative) followed by a hike/trek to explore the area.
In one location this is a stunning walk down into the canyon with the option to swim in the crystal clear (and cold) waters for the brave! Another is a beautiful walk to a secluded canyon near to the TADAH side (video above)
Another possibility is a visit to a stunning ancient city ruins and then food and swimming at a local lake.
In another location we hike/climb up to a 11th century castle on a hill. Or you can bypass the adventuring and enjoy the sights from the bottom 😛
In most cases it’s good to have good footwear. Converse are fine just not to be attempted in flip flops 🙂 We will inform you nearer the event which excursion we will go to so you can pack accordingly 🙂
